Stone County iron beds are built using hot-rolled
and hot-forging techniques. The time-honored techniques of forging,
bending, cutting and welding leave tool marks on the metal.
The variations are additional hallmarks of handcrafted iron.
Because the blacksmiths at Stone County Ironworks make all products
by hand, each finished item is always a unique piece. Our standard
finish is a durable, water-born, long lasting matte black finish
which compliments the material. Hand-applied premium finishes
are also available upon request.
